4 MORE SLEEPS WHOOO

OMG I cannot believe how fast christmas has come around, I've not stopped the past few weeks
I've been shopping, wrapping presents, activity's to attend in my son's school as well as trying to keep on top of everything in the house and have a good clear out of both the kids toys and clothes, It's been absolutely crazy.

I went to watch my son last week in his school concert, my mum and step-dad also came along with some family members from my son's side of the family, It was his first christmas concert in his new primary school and he was a party kid.
I have to say I was so proud of him watching him sing and dance with a big smile on his face, He did brilliant, but was so tired by the time it finished as he is normally in bed at 7pm on a school night and it was just after 8pm on us getting home.

I have had some lovely cards and decorations made by DJ in school, which I will add pictures of later on as my camera is at my mums as im writing this.

I have got all my presents wrapped and hidden ready to put out on christmas eve, Tomorrow im of out to do a food shop so that I won't have to go out and do it through the holidays and can have some quality time with the kids.

I'm looking forward to christmas eve, as we lock the doors early and will be having an easy tea, followed by a bath and pj's on, the snuggles on the sofa whilst watching a film before the kids go to bed.
Christmas day is also going to be great, as we're having friends and family over for dinner, we will cook between 3 houses but all sit down together, at the last count their was 12 of us, we're still unsure what a few are doing, their maybe 15 of us altogether and it's my house we're all eating in as I have the most room, the best bit about this is that I don't have to do any cleaning afterwards as everyone else does it, which means I'll be able to sit on the sofa with all the kids ad watch a film.

16 MORE SLEEPS

Well I don't no about everybody else but im started to get quite excited now as their are only 16 more sleeps until xmas day.
I put one of my trees up last night it's a white one and I have decorated it blue and silver, I have a large living room so i am also putting another tree up at the other end of the lounge, this one will be black but it's the kids tree to decorate as they like, They will properly do a better job than I have on the white one.
I still have more decorations I need to put up and will be doing them slowly over the next day or two.
Have you all put yours up yet? if so what colour tree and decorations have you gone for this year.

This Christmas their are 11 of us sitting down together to have dinner, this is a mix of family and friends and we all cook something and then eat in my house as I have the largest lounge, The best thing about this though is that I don't have to do any cleaning or wash any dishes afterwards as everyone else does it for me.
We're having a starter this year, and none of us wanted all the same thing, so there's prawns, soup, salad or homemade pate to choose from, I've chosen pate for me and Ruby and Dj has said he wants soup.
What are your plans for christmas this year?

Well this week I have to go out and finish my xmas shopping, I have got everything I need for friends and family, For this kids I have got their main present and some smaller bits but still need to get more, So on tuesday im going shopping with my aunty but we're also going to treat ourselfs to a pub lunch, yummy I really can't wait.

A little about me and my family

I am a 28 year old single mum called Kelly who lives on Anglesey in North Wales, I was born here and although I have left to go and work away when I was younger I always returned home.
I am currently not working but I am hoping to return to work or to attend collage to do an access course, My ambition is to become a midwife or to work with terminally ill children.
I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and my kids of course, When i'm not doing this i enjoy comping and blogging and relaxing with a nice big bar of chocolate.

This is me, Having a slightly nutty moment and pulling silly faces and taking pictures to send to my just as nutty auntie.
I actually have a good friend who always tells me that it is great to have a friend like me as I make her look normal.

The picture above is of my little dude and is my eldest, His full name is David John Newsome but to all his family, friends, school teachers he is known as DJ, This is what I have called him since the day he was born.
Dj is 7 years old and is dyslexic, But after 3 years of arguing and having to move him to a different school he is finally getting the help he needs.
Dj likes to spend time with his nana and didi (granddad) and with his friends, He is quite and shy, when he is not out playing with his friends he likes to watch dvds and do jigsaws and painting and drawing.

The picture above is of my second child who is also my youngest, Her full name is Ruby Alissiah Faye Williams and she is 2 years old, I know she has a long name I had decided that i was going to name her ruby faye and Dj mentioned he liked the name alissiah so that is how she ended up with it.
Ruby is my little terror, For everyone else she is an angel.
She hates the tv but loves music and will turn the cd player on as soon as she wakes up, and turn the volume up high ( lucky I have great neighbours )
Ruby is loud and confident and likes to dance and make lots of mess.
